Hi, just though I'd try out the forum - which is a great idea!!
I did have an issue creating the registration, as some of the Confirmation Code images contained unrecognisable/ambiguous characters, this combined with the code entry's case sensitivity meant it took me about 3 or 4 attempts.

Hi Robin,
Sorry to hear about your trouble signing in! These things can be a real pain. Unfortunately, it is built into the hosting platform and I can't do much to change that but will try to create an instruction manual to explain how to post.
I'd love to see a post about the DNA project research and what you have found regarding the different Clan Macfie branches. I'd never heard about that before.

No worries. As I mentioned I think this forum is a great idea.
Having previously failed at an attempt to do create a forum for the Clan Macfie Genealogy Project, I can understand these things can be a pain. But, full marks from me for getting this up and running.
I'm working on a clan DNA write up at the moment - hoping to present it to the Sept Clan Gathering.
Due to the variety of DNA tests done, and the complexity of the different levels of results, it is a bit tricky to explain without putting people to sleep:-)
